Overview

Hêfî-vëci Fêqê was founded durring the early 10th century, by Tsåk Trëkdsëm. The establishment of Hêfî-vëci Fêqê was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Tsåk Trëkdsëm struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Hêfî-vëci Fêqê as a prison colony.

Hêfî-vëci Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Hêfî-vëci Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Hêfî-vëci Fêqê is buildings are speckled and packed arround broad carved bedrock streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the town's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a town. The town rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Hêfî-vëci Fêqê's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. Hêfî-vëci Fêqê's political statment focused walls has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

A look around Hêfî-vëci Fêqê makes it abundantly clear the town suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Smiles are few, cheer is nowhere to be had. Everyone quietly goes about their daily business not looking anyone in the eye.

The outside world may or may not respect these distinctions when dealing with the locals.

The style used is best known for its striking sculptural forms and often dazzling ornamental detail that characterizes the buildings general shape. The radiant colors, rich patterns, and symmetrical silhouettes employed by this style were backed up by rich decorative features including gardens, courtyards, extruded arches, domes, pointed domes, vaulted ceilings, elaborate painted and inlaid designs, and decorative sculptures.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Hêfî-vëci Fêqê was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Hêfî-vëci Fêqê lost 127 people, 134 livestock, and 95 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 104, when members of Hêfî-vëci Fêqê's militia enacted an operation to scout a specific location for information about a particular bridge. The operation was complicated by a key segment of the operation that deepened entirely on a stealth mission going perfectly. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in victory for Hêfî-vëci Fêqê's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Hêfî-vëci Fêqê's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
